PBS Approvals

There are  many reference vehicles and PBS network maps to check road access before you start.

In-Principle access applications can be applied for if combination is outside of reference vehicle requirements or route and weight needs to be confirmed.

Check your design will pass the PBS Standards. We will gather all information on trucks and trailers and run assessments on Hevi Spec to create a PBS Design Approval.

We have a library of over 100 approved PBS Design Approvals for most combinations that need PBS.

We can certify your vehicles by inspection or desktop onto a PBS Vehicle Approval.

We work with fleets and one off operators to gain road access with consideration of access levels needed for Vehicle Approvals. Current access permits taken into consideration and overall freight task.

Once your Vehicle Approval is issued you can start operating under PBS if using a road access Notice and match the relevant reference vehicles or operate on Tier 1 weights.

If Road Access Permit is needed we can create and manage the application in the NHVR portal for individual routes, areas or last mile access to network for reference vehicles using a Notice.

Once permit is Issued the combination can be used under PBS.
